About This Game

Yami Kitchen is a free-to-play first-person horror restaurant management sim you can play directly in your browser. You're a cook drowning in a 300,000 gold debt that no honest diner could ever clear. One night a mysterious man appears with an offer: "Take in special customers. The pay is many times what you'd normally make. But never let anyone find them." Welcome to Yami Kitchen — your secret diner for the supernatural.

Built with Three.js, Yami Kitchen drops you into a fully 3D first-person diner where you cook 16 recipes for 15 different customers — 5 ordinary humans plus 10 monsters including ghosts, vampires, oni, aliens, werewolves, witches, robots, the Reaper and the Dark King himself. Take orders, fetch ingredients from shelves, juggle pots and ovens, and serve everyone before they get angry — all while dodging 5 different factions of hunters who want to drag your monster customers away.

When the police siren flashes through the window, the angel choir sings, or the Ghostbusters' machine starts buzzing, you have just seconds to react. Slam down the shutter, slip the customer through the back door, hide them in the basement, or disguise them with one of 10 items — sunglasses, wigs, masks, even a holographic projector. Survive 100 days, expand your kitchen, build trust with the Witch and the Robot for free upgrades, and decide each night how much of your earnings to put toward the debt and how much to reinvest in the shop.

Key Features

100-Day Story + Endless Mode

Pay off the 300,000 gold debt in 100 days of story mode. Each day runs about 5–7 real-time minutes. Clear the story to unlock Endless Mode — pursuers always come, difficulty rises forever, score-attack survival.

15 Customer Types

5 normal customers (salaryman, OL, student, grandma, couple) + 10 monsters: Ghost, Vampire, Wanted Criminal, Oni, Alien, Werewolf, Witch, Robot, Reaper, and Dark King — each with unique orders and pay (30 to 300 gold).

16 Recipes to Master

7 normal dishes (rice ball, ramen, curry, cake...) plus 9 monster-only dishes — Bloody Stew, Hell Ramen, Glowing Pasta, Full-Moon Steak, Dark Dessert, and the 4-ingredient Dark Full Course.

5 Pursuer Factions

Police, Ghostbusters, hero parties / hunters / witch hunters, men in black / scientists, and the angel of the Reaper. Each one has unique window signals and 6–10 second warning windows before they crash through the door.

4 Ways to Hide a Customer

Slam the shutter (safe but stops business), back door (safe but no reward), basement (3-slot safe hiding with full reward), or 10 disguises with stacking success rates including a 100% holographic projector.

15 Horror Events

Faces in the windows, footsteps from a non-existent second floor, flickering lights, mirrors out of sync, hidden hand prints, food shifting on the shelves — atmospheric scares that ramp up at midnight and sometimes mess with your hearing.

A Day at the Kitchen

Each day flows from morning to deep night, with monster customers and horror events ramping up as it gets dark:

TimeAtmosphere
MorningCalm. A few normal customers trickle in
NoonLunch rush. Lots of normal customers
EveningThe first monster customers start to appear
NightMore monsters. Horror events start triggering
MidnightMostly monsters. Frequent horror events. Highest pay, highest danger

After closing: review the day's sales, spend earnings on upgrades or disguises, decide how much to put toward the debt, then advance to tomorrow.
